Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Wednesday, Nov. 26 met with NATO's supreme allied commander in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, who is on a visit to Ukraine, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has reported.

“The Ukrainian prime minister confirmed the readiness of the Ukrainian authorities to create all conditions for deepening effective cooperation between the concerned agencies. General Breedlove, in turn, praised Ukrainian-U.S. cooperation in the defense sector,” reads the report.

The sides also discussed military and technical cooperation and support in the implementation of reforms in the Ukrainian defense sector.

Yatseniuk and Breedlove spoke about the military and political situation in Ukraine, problems that arise in militant-held areas and the prospects for resolving them, particularly in the winter period.
