 Taras Kachka has been appointed acting president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in place of Bernard Casey.

According to the public relations department, previously Kachka held the post of vice president of the American Chamber of Commerce.

He will hold the new post until a new president of the American Chamber of Commerce is appointed.

Kachka is expected to continue the strategic development of the American Chamber of Commerce, in particular, in the issues of improving the business environment in Ukraine, attracting new investors in its economy.

As reported, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Bernard Casey will leave the post in late 2014. The Board of Directors will look for a new head. The agency did not specify the reason for replacing the head.
