A group of unknown individuals on April 28 attacked the central office of Inter TV channel. According to the channel's press service, the windows and doors of the building were damaged during the attack, the building was filled with smoke after smoke bombs were thrown into the office.
“Inter TV channel considers it absolutely unacceptable to carry out forceful actions, which are being justified by the right of citizens to peaceful assembly, especially against mass media. The incident outside Inter’s central office could definitely be treated as at attempt to put pressure on the biggest television channel in Ukraine,” the report said.
The channel’s press service said that its leadership considers unacceptable any methods of pressure on the TV channel and ready to protect its employees and property by any possible legal means.
The official representatives of the TV channel have made a statement on the incident to the police.
