You're reading: Ukrainian Navy admiral to analyze Black Sea Region challenges at London conference

Vice Admiral Serhiy Haiduk will head a Ukrainian naval delegation at the NATO Maritime Commanders Meeting in London from June 30 until July 2, the website of Defense Ministry reported on June 30.

The conference is aimed at establishing dialogue between NATO Navy Commanders and allies on the current maritime topics and elaborating on common views concerning the future perspectives of NATO naval development.

Haiduk will analyze challenges and threats in the Black Sea Region, as well as the role of the Ukrainian Navy in overcoming challenges, discuss the priorities of military cooperation between the Ukrainian Navy, NATO naval forces and partner countries, and hold working meetings with foreign colleagues.
