Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin believes that the Normandy Format is ready to discuss the deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine.
“I raised this subject. In principal our partners are ready to talk
about various options,” Klimkin told Interfax in the wake of a meeting
of Normandy Format foreign ministers in Berlin on April 14.
“I described distinctly the logic of such a mission. This should be a
mission of support of the Minsk agreements. I described distinctly
spheres in which such a mission may be and should be useful. And we will
continue discussions,” he said.
