The Ukrainian government will unilaterally demarcate the Ukrainian-Russian state border, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.

“The government will decide on the adoption of a draft presidential decree on the unilateral demarcation of the border [with Russia],” Yatsenyuk said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Nov. 19, adding that he is referring to the European Wall project.

Yatsenyuk said a decree to this effect will envisage the beginning of unilateral demarcation of the Ukrainian-Russian state border.

“Russia again fails to fulfill its obligations and the joint Ukrainian-Russian demarcation commission is still not working,” he said.
