Ukraine's State Fiscal Service will set up its own battalion to fight in the east of the country, the head of the service said on Aug. 27.
“We’ve got instructions to set up our own battalion on the basis of the State Fiscal Service. Let me be frank – practically all governmental bodies have received such instructions,” Ihor Bilous said on Facebook.
“This battalion will mainly consist of tax policemen,” he said.
“It’s at the moment a pretty vague issue how many of them there will be. However, I think it’ll be within 100 people. I will be able to say something more precise after the next meeting,” Bilous said.
