The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has confirmed the receipt a Russian notice about another aid convoy for residents in the east of the country.

“We have received the note and are now considering it,” Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis told on Oct. 29.

Kyiv’s position remains invariable: delivery of any goods to Ukraine must be in accordance with the international law, including, in particular, a consent of the recipient state, mandatory customs clearance and border procedures and a number of other conditions, he said.

A spokesperson for the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said earlier that a fourth convoy of 50 vehicles with aid bound for Donetsk and Luhansk had left Noginsk, Moscow region, on Oct. 28. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it was not involved in organizing this convoy.

Earlier Russia sent three aid convoys to the Donbas region, which arrived on Aug. 22, Sept. 13 and 20, respectively.
