You're reading: Ukraine extends emergency measures on electricity market for another month

 The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Nov. 14 published resolution No. 1092 dated Nov. 7 on the introduction of emergency measures on the electricity market for a month.

 According to the document, the resolution takes effect from the day following the day when it was published.

The measures are the same as those previously introduced by the Cabinet.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers by decree No. 372 of Aug. 13, 2014 approved the procedure of taking temporary emergency measures to overcome the effects of the prolonged disruption of the normal work of the electricity market and by order No. 764 approved the need for such measures. Both documents were posted on the government’s portal on Aug. 24.
