You're reading: Three mini buses come under fire in Kharkiv, two passengers injured

KHARKIV - Unknown individuals opened fire on two mini buses in Kharkiv on June 25 evening. No one was seriously injured.

Several shots were fired from a car at a mini bus in the city’s Chkalova Street using a traumatic weapon around 5 p.m., the public relations department of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s Main Department for the Kharkiv region told Interfax.

“There is information that two passengers (a man and a woman) sustained bruises and cuts from a broken glass. They were given medical aid and there is no danger to their lives,” the police said.

A similar incident occurred in Prospekt Heroiv Truda around 5.20 p.m., when a mini bus came under fire. No one was hurt in the incident.

Later a police source reported that there is one more registered case of shelling the city mini bus, near the restaurant “La Notte”.

According to the agency’s interlocutor, all shots have been made from the black crossover utility vehicle.

No information about a number of injured persons in a third case from the interlocutor so far.
