Fifty-four Ukrainian border guards have died in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Border Service reported.
“The hostilities in eastern Ukraine have killed 54 border guards,” the service said in a report posted on its Web site.
The service noted the data was valid as of Sept. 1.
