Slovakia will deliver humanitarian aid containing medicines and medicinal products to Ukraine, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said.

We have already given humanitarian aid to Ukraine and want to continue. Today I’ve presented the humanitarian aid certificate for the Red Cross and Ukraine’s Defense Ministry. Six trucks will arrive with medicines, medicinal products and clothes, he said at a meeting with Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Fico added that the military conflict in eastern Ukraine couldn’t be solved militarily, and that a peaceful settlement is needed.
