Lviv - The shelling of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovo is being investigated as a terrorist's attack, the head of the Lviv city department of the Interior Ministry Serhiy Ziubanenko has said.

“The criminal case under part 1 of Article 258 (a terrorist’s attack) has been opened and we’re working on the versions,” he said at a briefing on Saturday, July 26.

As for the weapon used for shelling the house, Ziubanenko said that elements of shaped charge were found at the scene. He said that this could be anti-tank weapon, but only examination could give the exact answer, and it is being conducted.

“Judging the physical evidences found on the scene, this is a powerful weapon,” he said.
