The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has prevented the organization and carrying out of pseudo-separatist uprisings in Kharkiv and Odesa, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
“The service executed a number of brilliant operations in Kharkiv, in Odesa, where scenarios of development of pseudo-separatist uprisings were eliminated by apprehending agents of foreign states, [thereby] ensuring peace and order for citizens,” Poroshenko said in Kyiv on Thursday during a ceremony to present keys to apartments for SBU employees.
According to him, the SBU conducted the operations within the last month.
