U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power has assured that the U.S. won't turn its back on Ukraine in the future.
“America believes that your struggle has resonance far beyond your sovereign border,” she said at a meeting with the public in Kyiv on June 11.
She recalled that the United States had supported Ukraine since the beginning of the protests, and would not leave its side in the future.
Power urged the Ukrainians not to despair and to continue their struggle for a better future, because “everyone who has bet against you up until this point has proven wrong.”
