A Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) violated the Russian national border in the Rostov region in the early hours of June 13, a spokesman for the Rostov regional office of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Border Service, Vasily Malayev, told Interfax on Friday.

The vehicle stopped near the Russian town of Millerovo. The soldiers
inside the IFV left it and returned to Ukraine but then came back and
tried to return their vehicle. This attempt was foiled by border guards,
and the border violators withdrew. The IFV was found, and an inquiry
has been launched into the incident.
