Moscow - State Duma deputies will not go to Kyiv to monitor the early Verkhovna Rada elections on Oct. 26.

Senior officials of the State Duma said earlier the election monitoring by Russian parliamentarians was possible, primarily, within the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly framework.

State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin expressed the hope on Oct. 24. that the dialogue between the Russian and Ukrainian parliaments might resume after the Verkhovna Rada elections.
