You're reading: Rebuilding railway infrastructure in Ukraine’s east requires about Hr 755 million

According to rough estimates, 1,247 facilities of railways' infrastructure in the east of Ukraine were damaged during military operations as of Nov. 17, 2014, the press service of the State Rail Transport Administration, or Ukrzaliznytsia, has told.

Rebuilding the facilities requires Hr 754.3 million.

As was reported, railways engineers have on their own repaired 57 out of damaged 79 track facilities belonging to Donetsk Railways’ Krasnolymansky Rail Transportation Directorate.
