The US continues to insist on Russia's compliance with the Minsk agreements, including ending its aggression against Ukraine and freeing pilot Nadia Savchenko, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt has said.
“Russia must end [its] relentless campaign of aggression that started with Crimea and continues with [the] combined separatist-Russian assault on Schastia,” Pyatt wrote on Twitter on May 22.
He also wrote: “We stand firm, that Russia must comply with its obligations under [the] Minsk [agreements] to include the release of Nadia Savchenko.”
