You're reading: Press center: SBU extends anti-terrorist measures to Zaporizhia region after bridge explosion

Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) has extended counter-terrorism measures to the territory of Zaporizhia region after a railway bridge was blasted on the Kamysh Zarya - Rozovka stretch of the line. 

“SBU Chairman Valentyn Nalyvaichenko issued instructions to conduct
counter-terrorism actions in the region,” the SBU press center said in a
statement published on Jan. 20 evening.

It was reported earlier that the railway bridge was blown up in the village
of Kuznetsovka in the region’s Rozivka district bordering Donetsk region on
January 20.

The explosion caused the derailment of a freight train, a spokesperson for
the Dnipropetrovsk railway told Interfax-Ukraine. No casualties were
reported.
