Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, has announced that Russia purchased the first tranche of Ukraine’s sovereign bonds worth US $3 billion on Monday, December 23, 2013. The Russian PM was speak his counterpart Mykola Azarov during a meeting on December 24, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
