You're reading: Poroshenko: Ukraine and NATO need to revive all forms of cooperation

Brussels - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said heconsiders it necessary to restore Ukraine's cooperation with NATO in all of its existing forms.

At a press conference in Brussels on Aug. 30, Poroshenko said that he saw the necessity to restore the cooperation with NATO in all of its forms, as it would involve both the situation in the security sector and the reform of the country.

According to Poroshenko, NATO is ready to help Ukraine realize such reforms, and Ukraine will undoubtedly accept such help.

According to the president, the issue of security will be the most important one at the NATO summit meeting in Wales on Sept. 4-5.

He also added that those issues would be discussed during his visit to the United States, which is scheduled for the second part of September.
