Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko believes that the upcoming visits of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko (Dec. 21) and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev (Dec. 22) to Ukraine are timely and important.

According to the official website of the Ukrainian president, Poroshenko said this during a telephone conversation with Nazarbayev on Dec.19 night.

“Poroshenko invited Nazarbayev to visit Ukraine on Dec.22. The president of Kazakhstan accepted the invitation, noting that it will be an occasion to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, in particular economic cooperation and trade relations. The Ukrainian president stressed he considers the visit of the presidents of Kazakhstan and Belarus to be timely, important and symbolic,” reads the report.
