Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has called on the U.S. to continue subjecting Russia to economic sanctions.
“I am also asking the U.S. to be strong and stand up for its principles and further sanctions against the aggressor. Economic sanctions are important for many reasons: they have helped determine what is good and what is bad,” Poroshenko said in the U.S. Congress on Thursday, Sep. 18.
