You're reading: Part of east Ukraine-bound aid convoy arrives in Rostov region – ministry

Rostov-on-don -- A column of 25 heavy trucks sent from the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue center in Noginsk, near Moscow, has arrived at the ministry's rescue center in Kovalyovka, Rostov region, to join a convoy that will take aid to the regions of Luhansk and Donetsk, a ministry spokesman said on Jan. 5. 

The convoy, to consist of 120 trucks, is due to be formed on Tuesday. Its cargo would be inspected on Jan. 8.
