You're reading: Over 700 Crimean residents enrolled in Ukrainian universities – Education Ministry

Ukrainian higher education establishments have enrolled 761 Crimean residents, the press service of the Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine reported.

“According to the Unified State E-Data Base on Education Issues, as of August 18, 2015 a total of 761 Crimean residents (according to their place of registration) entered higher education establishments to obtain degrees of a junior specialist, bachelor, specialist or a master [levels],” the report said.

The ministry noted that 207 Crimean residents enrolled to obtain the junior specialist degrees and a bachelor (full time and part time) degrees, and 554 people Crimean resident enrolled to obtain specialist’s and master’s degrees.

A total of 329 Crimean students, and 432 natural persons and legal entities will be funded by Ukraine’s state budget.
