The opposition has decided to conduct a major protest in Moscow on Nov. 15, Alexander Ryklin, a senior member of the Solidarity movement, says.

“The application to be filed with the city hall is for a march
according to the usual itinerary: Pushkinskaya – the boulevards, and a
rally in Prospekt Sakharova,” Ryklin said.

“The application will be for about 50,000 (participants), I think,” he said.

Among the organizers are Parnas Party and the Protests Committee, he said.

“I have no doubt that Solidarity will vote in favor of the protest. I
am certain we will be joined by many various politicians,” he said.

“There will be many important people among the applicants, both
politicians and public figures, arts and culture representatives,”
Ryklin said.

The opposition has decided to call the forthcoming event the March of Change, he said.
