ODESA - Penitentiaries in the Odesa Oblast are now making products for the Ukrainian National Guard.

Inmates are producing bed linen, uniforms, potbelly stoves and folding beds, the Odesa region department of the State Penitentiary Service reported.

The Black Sea penitentiary No. 74 has made about 25,000 pillow cases and almost 30,000 hats and uniforms.

The Odesa penitentiary No. 14 is making slippers. The penitentiary donated 5,000 slippers and 84 hospital gowns to hospitals treating wounded Ukrainian soldiers in September.

The Southern penitentiary is making camp beds and potbelly stoves.
