Kharkiv - An army recruiting office was attacked in Kharkiv's Orjonikidze district overnight.

“Unknown individuals fired a grenade launcher shot from a long distance at about 04:00. Reportedly, they used an RPG-18 Mukha grenade launcher. The shell hit the facade of the army recruiting office between the first and second floors and exploded. Eight windows were smashed and plaster was damaged in two rooms. No one was hurt,” the regional media center of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine on Sept. 8.

The attackers were not caught on cameras because they had fired from a long distance.

The security of army recruiting offices is being bolstered throughout the region in connection with this.

This was the fifth attack on army recruiting offices in Kharkiv and the region since March. There have been no casualties in any of the cases.
