"More than 10" civilians were killed and "dozens" were injured during a rocket attack on the town of Nyzhnia Krynka, eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, on Wednesday morning, Sep. 17, the Ukrainian military said, blaming the shelling on militant forces.

The bombardment, in which Grad multiple rocket launchers were used, took place from 8. 45 a.m. to 11.40 a.m., the press center of the government anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine said on Facebook.

The center said nine houses had been destroyed in the shelling.
