Germany's Lufthansa airline has appointed Rene Koinzack as the new general manager of its representative office for Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia and Georgia, according to press release on June 19.

Koinzack had headed the business development department in Britain, Ireland and Iceland since 2012.

“At present, of course, there are no best conditions for business, but this is a large challenge for any manager, and I’m looking forward to cooperation with the team of professionals in Lufthansa,” reads the report, citing Koinzack.

Lufthansa Group, along with the eponymous brand, owns Austrian Airlines, Swiss Airlines, Germanwings, and has stakes in Brussels Airlines and US JetBlue.
