Simferopol - The Crimean State Council will consider a new constitution of the republic at a special sitting on April 11, Crimean parliament speaker Vladimir Konstantinov said.

 “A historic meeting of the State Council [has been scheduled] for Friday
to approve the constitution of the Republic of Crimea as a constituent
territory of Russia,” Konstantinov said at a meeting of the Crimean
State Council Presidium on Wednesday.
