The website of Ukrainian president has posted statements made by government officials regarding their agreement to lustration checks, as part of the lustration law.

The 2013 income declarations of Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ihor Kolomoisky, Chairman of Kyiv Regional State Administration Volodymyr Shandra, Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Borys Lozhkin, officials in state commissions, department heads at the Security Service of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine have been made public.The majority of the statements came from the heads of regional state administrations.

The total income of Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Ihor Kolomoisky from all sources in Ukraine in 2013 amounted to Hr 698.004 million and about 130 million in foreign currency.

Such data are contained in Kolomoisky’s declaration on property, income, expenses and financial obligations posted on the website of the president of Ukraine.

Some Hr 516.457 million of the total income was dividends and interest, Hr 181.548 million – revenues from the alienation of securities and corporate rights.

Outside Ukraine Kolomoisky received income in the amount of $124.376 million (Hr 994.141 million), EUR 3.75 million (Hr 41.406 million). The declaration does not contain data on the income of the members of Kolomoisky’s family.

Kolomoisky owns a land plot of 15,188 square meters, apartments of 214.6 square meters, 281.1 square meters and 208 square meters, as well as uses a non-privatized apartment of 62.96 square meters and a rented apartment of 277 square meters. In addition, Kolomoisky has a summer cottage of 240 square meters. His family members own two apartments of 198.9 square meters and 96.9 square meters.

Kolomoisky also owns six cars: a Mercedes Benz 5000 (produced in 2011), two Mercedes Benz S600s (2003), a Daimler Chrysler 6100 (2001), a Toyota Land Cruiser (2001), and a Porshe Box (1997). The members of his family do not own vehicles.

Kolomoisky’s funds in banks and other financial institutions stand at Hr 427.489 million, in particular abroad – Hr 80.119 million, funds invested in 2013 – Hr 112.759 million.

The lustration law took effect on Oct. 16. A total of 357 persons were dismissed in the first wave of lustration. The second stage of lustration that began on Dec. 1 will examine all government agencies.

“The second wave of lustration is to be scheduled via stage-by-stage examinations,” Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko said.

According to Petrenko, starting from spring 2015 examinations are to be held on a regional level, and at by end of 2015, they will reach the district level.

On Dec. 15, the Council of Europe Venice Commission approved Ukraine’s lustration law. However, the commission pointed out a number of serious flaws.
