Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and his brother Wladimir have passed 2,000 NATO first aid kits to Ukrainian servicemen.

“We have found an opportunity to buy 2,000 first aid kits that have already arrived in Ukraine. In addition, they come with brochures,” the mayor said in Kyiv on Oct. 31, while handing over the kits to volunteers.

He also added: “These are NATO first aid kits.”

Klitschko said that every first aid kit came with a brochure providing information about the use of its contents. He said that first aid kits had been purchased for his and his brother’s funds. The cost of one kit is $100.

“We appealed to volunteers and specialists so that these kits could get to those patriots who need them,” the politician said.
