The representatives of nine Ukrainian charitable foundations and the Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi on March 13 signed an agreement on the Japanese government's provision of aid worth $810,000 to nine Ukrainian charitable foundations.

“We are well aware that today the worst-affected regions are those in eastern Ukraine. Therefore we will provide aid to the neighboring regions. I am very pleased that now we are able to provide assistance to hospitals and schools, which are located in these regions,” the ambassador said while signing the agreements.

The agreements were signed as part of the Kusanone human security projects.
