Moscow - Hungary is interested in the speedy settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and believes that the negotiating process should be based on the Minsk accords, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

“Ukraine is Hungary’s neighbor, therefore we aspire for the situation in Ukraine to stabilize as soon as possible. This is in our interests,” he said after a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.

“The negotiating process should be based on the Minsk understandings and all sides to the talks should observe them,” the minister said.
