You're reading: Gazprom says gets another $20 million from Ukraine’s Naftogaz as advance payment

MOSCOW - Ukrainian state oil and gas company Naftogaz has transferred another $20 million to Russia's Gazprom as advance payment for natural gas, Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov told Interfax on April 18.

This brings the total advance payments for April made by Naftogaz to $70 million. With the contractual price of $247.18 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas, this sum can buy 283.2 million cubic meters.

Between April 1 and 16, Naftogaz received 140 million cubic meters from Gazprom to a total of $34.5 million, according to Ukrtransgaz.
