Moscow - French specialists who came to Moscow on Tuesday will stay for three to five days to help the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) investigating the business jet Falcon crash in the Vnukovo airport.

Francois Hochart, head of the investigations department of the Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), told Channel One they were ready to help decipher the flight recorder data and understand what the pilots were saying in French. The delegation comprising an engineer was also ready to provide any technical documentation for the plane.

The French expert said they had come to Moscow to assist in the IAC inquiry and would stay in Russia for three to five days, as long as it was necessary.

Rossiya-24 reported earlier French specialists came to Moscow on Oct. 21 to participate in the Vnukovo air crash inquiry.

The delegation has six members: three BEA representatives, a representative from the company that designed the Falcon and two representatives of the airline Unijet, the television station said.

An IAC spokesman told earlier the BEA had appointed its envoy and five advisors to join the investigation and the delegation would arrive in Moscow on Oct. 21 evening.
