The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has provided residents of Donetsk in need with over 311,000 food packages via the city's social service; the weight of every package is over 10 kilos, according to Donetsk mayor's office.
“On behalf of the city residents I thank the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for the provided assistance, which is very important to the city and its residents in these troubled times,” the press service of the mayor’s office quoted Donetsk mayor Oleksandr Lukyanchenko as saying.
The Foundation’s employees and volunteers already started giving out the aid to mothers with children.
