It was quiet in the war zone in eastern Ukraine on Oct. 12, with no truce breach observed on militants' part, the press center for Kyiv's military operation said on Oct. 12.
“This day, Oct. 12, was quiet in the war zone. There were no … armed provocations,” the press center said on its Facebook page on Oct. 12 evening.
The Ukrainian military are dealing with the engineering equipment on their positions and clearing areas from explosive items.
In addition, the military jointly with the fiscal service have determined a site for humanitarian aid delivery in Volnovakha, the press center said.
Mobile phone service has been restored in Krasnohorivka. Efforts to restore it in the Maryinka district continue.
