Dnipropetrovsk - Dnipropetrovsk regional council deputies have adopted a program to create jobs for migrants from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and the ATO area for 2015-2016, providing Hr. 1.5 million for this purpose.

The decision noted that the program will help create jobs, provide vocational training, retraining, as well as creating an electronic database of job seekers.

“We are making every effort to provide the residents of the neighboring regions with housing, basic conditions for life, and help with employment. All those who came to us are not just internally displaced people. These are people who have a profession, who worked and are willing to work. It is not enough to take them; we must help them live on. It is necessary to create conditions so that these people can express themselves and become an additional resource rather than burden,” chairman of Dnipropetrovsk regional council Yevhen Udod said.

83,000 internally displaced people from Crimea and the ATO area are registered in Dnipropetrovsk region.
