The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund plans to sell the assets of insolvent banks for Hr 2.4 billion by the end of 2015, the director of the department for insolvent banks' assets management at the fund, Andriy Shevchenko, has said.

“It is planned by the end of the year to sell the property of 47 insolvent banks for Hr 2.4 billion,” he said at a meeting with journalists.

As reported, according to the fund, as of Sept. 1, 2015 the fund had sold the property of 31 banks for Hr 375 million, while the amount of declared trading was Hr 8.8 billion.

Fund Managing Director Kostiantyn Vorushilin, when commenting on the expected level of sales by the end of 2015, said that the fund had not auctioned the collateral under refinancing received from the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the fund, the assets of insolvent banks managed by the fund as of Sept. 1 amounted to Hr 331.4 billion, of which the carrying amount of the assets pledged at the National Bank amounted to Hr 119.6 billion.
