The Council of Europe is monitoring the situation in the eastern part of Ukraine with concern, including the movement of the Russian humanitarian convoy into Ukraine

“We appeal to both sides to find solution which respects the territorial integrity of Ukraine and international law,” Spokesperson of Secretary General of the Council of Europe Daniel Holtgen told Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that the agreement should take into account the urgent necessity of providing the humanitarian aid to the region.
