You're reading: Central Election Commission reserves Hr 516 million to conduct second round of presidential elections

At a sitting on Tuesday the Central Election Commission (CEC) approved the allocation of funds from the state budget to prepare for and conduct the early presidential elections on May 25.

According to its decision, expenses of CEC will amount to UAH 86.8
million, expenses of territorial election commissions – Hr 19.4
million, and expenses of precinct electoral commissions – Hr 552.7
million.

In addition the CEC kept Hr 516 million in reserve to conduct a second round of voting if necessary.

Three official international observers from Lithuania were also registered during that sitting.
