You're reading: Cabinet proposes envisaging Hr 63 billion for army in state budget for 2015

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has proposed envisaging Hr 63 billion in the draft state budget for 2015 to finance the needs of the army, Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak has said.

“Hr 45 billion is what was spent on financing the military over the past three years. This year we significantly increased (funding for the army) – Hr 18 billion from the reserve fund. That is, the total amount is Hr 63 billion. We are planning to reach the same amount next year,” Shlapak said while introducing the draft state budget for 2015 on Sept. 15.
