You're reading: Block of Petro Poroshenko’s list of candidates for new Rada composition

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko will head the election list of the Block of Petro Poroshenko at the forthcoming early parliamentary elections, while party'leader Yuriy Lutsenko follows Klitschko on the election list.

The relative decision was taken at the party’s congress in Olympiysky National Sport Complex in Kyiv on Sunday.

Ukrainian doctor and freelance advisor of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Olha Bohomolets, is in the top three in the list, then comes Deputy Premier of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman, and former chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Mustafa Jemilev.

Besides, the first ten on the list include Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuliy Mamchur, female writer MP Maria Matios, presidential advisor for humanitarian issues Mykola Tomenko, MP Iryna Heraschenko and leader of UDAR party’s faction in parliament Vitaliy Kovalchuk.

Education Minister Serhiy Kvit, MPs Ruslan Kniazevych, Yuriy Stets, Ihor Hryniv and Oksana Prodan will also run for the parliamentary elections in the membership of the Block of Petro Poroshenko in the next ten places.

Journalists Serhiy Leschenko and Mustafa Nayem are among those on the election list.

Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov is 71st on the party’s election list.

Father of Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy Poroshenko, MPs Mykola Katerynchuk, Viktor and Ivan Baloha, Davyd Zhvania, Serhiy Kaplin, Serhiy Mischenko will run for the election in majority constituencies.

The congress also approved Ruslan Kniazevych to be a party representative in the Central Election Commission (CEC).
