Militants continue boosting the number of shelling the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) forces and the positions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas came under fire 175 times in the past 24 hours, the press center of the ATO has reported.

“Our positions in Krasnohorivka were under 120 mm mortar fire five times late in the afternoon. Avdiyivka was shelled around 9 p.m. and Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, Novobakhmutivka and Vodiane were under 152 mm artillery fire. Cynically violating ceasefire agreements, militants used Grad rockets to shell Nevelske, Pisky, Opytne and Vodiane from the direction of Abakumov Mine starting from 9:50 p.m.. From 10 p.m. to 10:25 p.m. our positions in Pervomaiske were under 152 mm artillery and Grad rocket fire,” reads the report published on Saturday.

Near Mariupol militants used artillery fire twice and 120 mm mortars to sell Talakivka in the evening.

In Artemivsk direction army positions in Dzerzhynsk, Leninske and Sanzharivka came under attack from 6 p.m. until midnight and around 20:30 militants used tanks and 120 mm mortars to shell Zaitseve.

Purposefully destroying the infrastructure in Donbas, militant shelled Avdiyivka at 22:25 and Pavlopil at 11:45 p.m. using Grad rocket launchers.

After midnight on August 15 militants continued shelling Ukrainian army positions mainly in Donetsk direction and at 3:16 a.m. they used Grad rocket launchers to shell army positions in Pervomaiske.
