Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov has announced the creation of a humanitarian staff for assistance to the residents of Donbas.

“Because we are at war and need clear, like clockwork, actions for
everyone to know what to do, where to go and with what resources. Some
325,000 people are employed by Akhmetov’s enterprises and now we have to
show that we’re actually one family,” the coordinator of the
humanitarian staff Rima Fil said at a press conference.

The headquarters were established at Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation to
unite the resources of all the businesses of System Capital Management, as well as Football Club Shakhtar
to provide maximum assistance to the people of Donbas – in evacuation
from the war zone, temporary accommodation, delivery of humanitarian
aid, material support for families of the victims.

“The problem is so large and catastrophic, that no one can solve it
on their own. And for this reason Rinat Akhmetov decided to help
everyone in need who lives in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, to whose
house trouble and war came. It was decided to establish the staff,” she
said.

Among the main tasks of the staff are conditions for the employment of refugees, who left the anti-terrorist operation area.
