Voronezh - The Antonov-140 Russia-Ukraine cargo and passenger airliner project will be continued, Russian Air Force Commander Lt. Gen. Viktor Bondarev said.

“We have our plane and we will carry on this project. It has not been
killed so far and Ukrainian colleagues realize that we are the only
ones who need the component and spare parts they are producing,” Gen.
Bondarev said answering media questions on Tuesday, July 22.

Russia is able to continue this project alone, “under its own aegis”, if necessary, he said.

“We can shift to our own spare parts in three years,” the Air Force commander stated.
