You're reading: Business Standard: Ukraine urges Intentional Criminal Court to probe deaths of protesters

 Ukraine has asked the Intentional Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate the civilian deaths during the protests that led to the ouster of President Viktor Yanukovych, local media reported April 18. In a declaration addressed to the court, Kyiv said it had accepted the jurisdiction of the ICC with respect to alleged crimes committed in its territory from Nov. 21, 2013 to Feb 22, 2014, Xinhua reported.
